Pacific Rim

In the near future, humanity finds itself at war with the Kaiju, colossal monsters that have emerged from an interdimensional portal at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. To combat these threats, the world unites to create the Jaeger program—massive humanoid mechs controlled by two pilots whose minds are joined by a neural bridge known as "drifting." As the Kaiju grow stronger and the Jaegers become less effective, the fate of civilization falls to a washed-up former pilot, Raleigh Becket, and an untested trainee, Mako Mori. Together, they must pilot a legendary but obsolete Jaeger in a final, desperate mission to seal the breach and prevent the impending apocalypse.
