When Leif’s estranged mother, Honey, passes away, she leaves him a "conditional inheritance" in the form of a picturesque Yosemite cabin. To claim the property, Leif must complete an elaborate and often dubious to-do list left behind on a series of VHS tapes. Accompanied by his loyal dog Nora, Leif embarks on a journey of self-discovery, attempting to mend past relationships—including one with "the one that got away"—and finally understanding the mother he never truly knew.
