Screamers: The Hunting

Set thirteen years after the events of the original cult classic, Screamers: The Hunting follows a group of Alliance soldiers sent to the deserted mining planet Sirius 6B to investigate a mysterious SOS signal. Led by Lt. Victoria Bronte, the daughter of the first film's protagonist, the rescue team soon discovers that the lethal, self-replicating "Screamers" have not only survived but have evolved into terrifyingly human-like hybrids. As the team struggles to find survivors and secure fuel for their escape before a catastrophic storm hits, they realize the machines' ultimate goal is to infiltrate Earth by masquerading as the very humans they were programmed to destroy.
