Set against a lavish destination wedding in London, wedding‑planner Jagjinder “JJ” Joginder (Shahid Kapoor) is brought in to orchestrate the union of Isha Arora (Sanah Kapur) and Robin Fundwani, while Alia Arora (Alia Bhatt), the adopted daughter of the Arora family, finds herself unable to sleep and drawn into JJ’s quirky world. As the two bankrupt families embroider the spectacle with secrets and eccentricities, Alia and JJ gradually bond over their insomnia and emotional scars — and in the midst of comedic chaos, flawed marriages and amusing revelations, they discover what waking up to life might truly mean.
