About Shootout at Lokhandwala
Inspired by the real-life 1991 Lokhandwala Complex encounter in Mumbai, the film chronicles the rise of ambitious underworld operative Maya Dolas and his ruthless extortion gang. As Maya's violent defiance against both rival syndicates and civil authority spirals out of control, Additional Commissioner of Police Shamsher Khan spearheads the newly formed Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) to corner the operatives inside an apartment building, igniting a ferocious, hours-long daylight gun battle that turns a quiet suburban neighborhood into an active combat zone.
