After witnessing the brutal murder of his parents on Christmas Eve by a man dressed as Santa Claus, Billy Chapman grows up haunted by the trauma and a disembodied voice known as "Charlie." Now a transient drifter, Billy finds himself compelled by a twisted sense of justice to "punish" those he deems naughty, donning the infamous red suit to carry out a series of violent retributions.
