About Special 26
Inspired by the real-life 1987 Opera House heist in Mumbai, the film follows Ajay Singh and his ring of clever con artists who pose as Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Income Tax officers to execute fake raids on corrupt politicians and affluent businessmen hoarding untaxed wealth. As real CBI officer Waseem Khan relentlessly closes in to track them down, the crew stages their most audacious and high-stakes operation yet—recruiting 26 unsuspecting recruits to raid a prominent jewellery store right under law enforcement's nose.
