The Cleanse

The Cleanse follows Paul Berger, a heartbroken and unemployed man who seeks a fresh start by joining an experimental spiritual retreat. The program requires participants to consume a series of specialized elixirs designed to purge their bodies of toxins and negative energy. However, the "cleanse" takes a surreal and terrifying turn when the internal demons Paul and his fellow retreat-goers release manifest physically as strange, dependent organisms. What begins as a self-help journey evolves into a dark, metaphorical fantasy where Paul must literally face the manifestations of his own insecurities and decide whether to nurture or destroy the baggage he has carried for so long.
