The D Train

The D Train is a dark comedy following Dan Landsman (Jack Black), a socially awkward and self-appointed head of his high school reunion committee who is desperate to be popular. In an obsessive bid to ensure the success of the 20-year reunion, Dan travels to Los Angeles to manipulate the school's most famous alum, Oliver Lawless (James Marsden)—now a marginally successful commercial actor—into attending. However, a wild night of partying leads to an unexpected encounter that spirals Dan's life into a chaotic web of lies, forcing him to confront his deep-seated insecurities and the true meaning of friendship.
