The Devil Below

In the heart of the Appalachian Mountains lies Shookum Hills, a town abandoned decades ago after a mysterious coal mine fire turned the area into a desolate wasteland. When a team of researchers, led by a tough-as-nails guide and an ambitious geologist, ventures into the restricted zone to investigate the source of the fire, they discover that the underground inferno isn't the only thing lurking in the darkness. As they uncover a series of massive sinkholes, they realize they have disturbed a colony of predatory, subterranean creatures that have been hungry for fresh prey for a long time.
