Scott has been a case of arrested development ever since his firefighter father died when he was seven. Now in his mid-20s, he spends his days smoking marijuana and dreaming of becoming a tattoo artist until his mother starts dating a loudmouth firefighter named Ray. This relationship sets off a chain of events that forces Scott to grapple with his unresolved grief and finally take his first steps toward moving forward in life.
