The Last Shift

Stanley, an aging and dedicated fast-food worker, prepares to retire after 38 years of service on the graveyard shift at Oscar's Chicken and Fish. His final weekend takes an unexpected turn when he is tasked with training his replacement, Jevon, a talented but cynical young writer whose provocative politics and troubled past contrast sharply with Stanley's quiet, routine life. As the two men navigate the long, quiet hours of the night shift, they are forced to confront their vastly different perspectives on life, labor, and society, ultimately finding an unlikely camaraderie that challenges their assumptions about each other.
