The Machine

The Machine follows comedian Bert Kreischer, playing a fictionalized version of himself, whose wild college trip to Russia catches up with him 23 years later. After he and his estranged father (Mark Hamill) are kidnapped by a mobster seeking retribution for past drunken misdeeds, the two men must retrace the steps of young Bert (played in flashbacks by Jimmy Tatro) through a criminal underworld in Russia. Along the way, Bert and his father clash, bond, and confront both external threats and family tensions as they try to survive and find reconciliation.
