After suffering a mild stroke, 70-year-old former dancer Judith Albright (Barbara Hershey) voluntarily moves into Golden Sun Manor, a prestigious but gothic-style assisted living facility. Despite the staff's professionalism, Judith soon experiences terrifying supernatural visions and suspects a malevolent force is preying on the residents as they begin to die mysteriously.
