The Offering

In the wake of a young Jewish girl's mysterious disappearance, Arthur, the son of a Hasidic funeral director, returns home with his pregnant wife, Claire, hoping to reconcile with his estranged father. However, the family reconciliation is short-lived when an ancient evil, known as the "Taker of Children," is accidentally unleashed from a mysterious corpse delivered to the family's basement morgue.
