The Purge

In a dystopian near-future America, the government has instituted a radical annual event: for 12 hours all criminal activity—including murder—is legal. On this night, the Sandin family live in a gated community and believe they are safe—until masked intruders breach their home in the chaos of The Purge. As the night spirals violently out of control, the family must fight for survival and grapple with how far they are willing to go to protect themselves in a world where the rules have been suspended.
