Tides

Set in a bleak future where Earth has become a vast, tide-swept wasteland after a global catastrophe, the story follows Louise Blake, a young astronaut from the Kepler-209 space colony. Generations after the elite fled the planet, Blake is sent back on a scouting mission to determine if Earth has become habitable again, as the Kepler population faces a looming fertility crisis. Upon crash-landing in the mudflats, she discovers that life has persisted in a primitive, hardened form and must navigate a landscape of hostile survivors and long-buried secrets.
