Vanvaas

“Vanvaas” follows Deepak Tyagi (played by Nana Patekar), an elderly widower suffering from dementia who, feeling neglected by his sons, is cruelly abandoned by them in Varanasi. Lost and confused, Deepak crosses paths with Veeru (Utkarsh Sharma), a small‑time crook who initially sees him as an easy target. However, Deepak’s innocence and vulnerability awaken Veeru’s conscience, and the two embark on a transformative journey of redemption and familial reconnection, exploring themes of abandonment, betrayal and the meaning of home.
