Jill, an aspiring pastry chef in San Francisco, struggles to cope with the profound loss of her beloved younger sister, Isabelle, by continuing to leave personal emotional updates and thoughts on Isabelle's phone number. Unbeknownst to Jill, the phone number has been reassigned to Wes, a real estate agent based in Austin, who inadvertently listens to her heartfelt audio diaries, navigates her chaotic dating stories, and slowly begins to fall deeply in love with her sight unseen.
