Aashayein

Aashayein follows the life of Rahul Singh, a compulsive gambler whose world is upended just as he hits a massive jackpot and proposes to his girlfriend. After collapsing at his celebratory party, he is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and informed he has only ninety days to live. Seeking to spend his remaining time away from the pity of his loved ones, Rahul checks into a hospice where he encounters a diverse group of terminal patients who challenge his perspective on mortality. Through these poignant and often life-affirming relationships—including a bond with a spirited young girl and a wise old man—Rahul transitions from a state of denial and despair to discovering the true meaning of hope and living life to its fullest.
