Bad Newz is a Hindi romantic comedy that revolves around Saloni, an aspiring chef who marries the charming but overbearing Akhil. After their marriage falls apart, Saloni moves to Mussoorie and starts working at a hotel managed by Gurbir. Following a night of heavy drinking, she unknowingly becomes pregnant with twins fathered by both Akhil and Gurbir, a rare biological phenomenon called heteropaternal superfecundation.
