Badmaash Company

The film is set in 1990s Bombay and follows four friends from middle‑class backgrounds — Karan (Shahid Kapoor), Bulbul (Anushka Sharma), Zing (Meiyang Chang) and Chandu (Vir Das) — who, frustrated with ordinary lives, start a daring import business scheme to exploit loopholes in the system and rapidly climb the ladder of wealth and glamour. Driven by ambition and risk, their venture spirals into smuggling, high‑stakes deals abroad and moral compromise. Conflicts, excess and betrayal ensue until Karan, shaken by his father’s integrity and his own guilt, reforms, serves his time, and attempts to rebuild a legitimate enterprise with his friends, learning that true success lies in ethics, friendship and responsibility rather than shortcuts.
