Bramayugam

The film Bramayugam is a period folk-horror thriller set in 17th-century Kerala, where a young folk singer from the oppressed Paanan caste seeks refuge in a mysterious dilapidated mansion owned by the sorcerer Kodumon Potti (played by Mammootty). As the singer enters the eerie manor, he soon realises the uncanny and malevolent forces at work, and the boundary between tradition, superstition and horror begins to blur, leading to a chilling confrontation rooted in power, myth and vengeance.
