Bug

Set in a remote Oklahoma motel, Bug follows Agnes White, a lonely waitress living in fear of her abusive ex-husband, who strikes up a tentative relationship with a soft-spoken Gulf War veteran named Peter. As their bond deepens, Peter reveals a disturbing conspiracy theory, claiming the military has infested him with microscopic insects as part of a government experiment. What begins as a search for companionship quickly spirals into a claustrophobic descent into shared delusion and extreme paranoia, as the couple barricades themselves against an unseen enemy in a feverish, psychological breakdown.
