Janamaithri

Janamaithri is a Malayalam slapstick comedy that follows the eccentric officers of the Paramedu Police Station as they launch a "people-friendly" initiative called "Oru Chayaku Oru Jeevan" (A Life for a Tea). The program aims to improve the image of the Kerala Police by serving hot tea to late-night drivers to prevent accidents. However, the plan descends into a chaotic series of misadventures when they unknowingly involve a desperate traveler with a stomach ailment and a group of local thieves in their quest for positive publicity. The film humorously portrays the "hare-brained" yet well-intentioned efforts of the police force as they navigate through a night filled with bizarre encounters and situational blunders.
