After feeling out of place during college break, Spencer jumps back into the world of Jumanji to reclaim the confidence of his avatar, Dr. Smolder Bravestone. His friends—Martha, Fridge, and Bethany—enter the game to rescue him, but the game has changed. Spencer’s grandfather Eddie and his estranged friend Milo are also sucked into the game as avatars, adding chaos to their mission to retrieve the Falcon Jewel from warlord Jurgen the Brutal. The group battles treacherous landscapes, switches avatars mid-quest, and rebalances grief and friendship before Spencer's friends return home—while Milo stays behind, and in a mid-credits twist, Jumanji creatures escape into the real world.
