Miller’s Girl is a provocative drama / erotic thriller about a bright, literary high school senior, Cairo Sweet (Jenna Ortega), who becomes drawn to her creative writing teacher, Jonathan Miller (Martin Freeman). When Miller assigns her a short story in the style of her favorite author, Cairo blurs the boundaries between fiction and reality by crafting an erotic narrative involving herself and Miller. The relationship gradually spirals into manipulation, betrayal, controversy, and accusation as Cairo uses the work to expose or punish Miller, with serious consequences for both their lives.
