Munda Faridkotia is a lighthearted romantic comedy about Farid Singh Brar, a carefree young man from Faridkot, India, who loves his homeland and spends his days farming and goofing around. Frustrated with his aimless lifestyle, his mother demands he move to Canada; in a flurry of distress, Farid prays for the ability to stay in Faridkot. But when he wakes up, he discovers that he's in a village named Faridkot—but in Pakistan! Hijinks ensue as he avoids being recognized by pretending to be mute and soon falls for a local girl, which complicates his desire to return home – blending humor, romance, and a touching cross-border twist.
