Petta Rap

Petta Rap follows the journey of Bala, a middle-class young man and struggling junior artist in the Tamil film industry who harbors a lifelong ambition to become a major action hero. His path crosses with Janaki, also known as Jeni, a former classmate and unrequited love who has reinvented herself as a successful pop singer. When Bala faces a devastating career setback and considers ending his life, he instead chooses to live his remaining days with reckless abandon, leading to a series of high-energy musical sequences and violent confrontations with powerful gangsters. The film serves as a musical action-comedy that pays homage to the vibrant spirit of 90s cinema and Prabhu Deva's iconic dance legacy.
