After his debut solo album becomes a massive hit, Conner surrounds himself with a massive entourage and becomes a global superstar fueled by vanity and outlandish marketing stunts. However, when his sophomore album, Connquest, flops and his world-tour ticket sales plummet, Conner is forced to confront his dwindling popularity and the fractured friendships he left behind. The film parodies the excesses of the modern music industry through a series of absurd musical performances and celebrity cameos, ultimately questioning what it takes to stay relevant in an era of fleeting fame.
