STING

Set in a decaying New York City apartment building, the story follows Charlotte, a rebellious 12-year-old girl who discovers a mysterious spider that hatched from a strange object fallen from the sky. Keeping the creature as a secret pet named Sting, she quickly realizes that her "talent" for raising it has terrifying consequences as the spider grows at an exponential rate and develops an insatiable hunger for flesh. As the building’s residents and pets begin to vanish, Charlotte and her stepfather must confront the monstrous, supersized arachnid to survive the night and prevent the creature from claiming their entire family.
