The 5th Wave

The 5th Wave follows Cassie Sullivan, a teenage girl trying to survive in a world devastated by a series of alien invasions ("waves") that have destroyed much of humanity. After four waves that disable power, cause massive tsunamis, and unleash a deadly plague, Cassie is separated from her younger brother and sets out to find him. Along the way she encounters Evan Walker, a mysterious young man who may be an ally—or may not. As the threat builds toward the final, ominous fifth wave, Cassie must decide whom to trust and how far she'll go to save her brother and what remains of humanity.
