The Expendables

The Expendables is an old-school action thriller that follows a group of elite, highly-skilled mercenaries led by Barney Ross who are hired by a mysterious operative known as "Mr. Church." Their mission is to infiltrate a South American island, Vilena, and overthrow a ruthless dictator, General Garza, who is being manipulated by a rogue ex-CIA agent named James Munroe. As the team uncovers the true nature of the mission and the suffering of the local people, particularly through their contact Sandra, they realize they have been set up in a deadly game of betrayal. Despite the overwhelming odds, the "Expendables" decide to finish the job on their own terms, leading to an explosive confrontation filled with massive gunfights, hand-to-hand combat, and heavy artillery.
