The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part

The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part picks up five years after the events of the first film. In the Lego universe, Bricksburg has evolved into the dystopian “Apocalypseburg” following repeated Duplo invasions. Emmet remains optimistic, but his friends have grown tough and disillusioned. When General Sweet Mayhem, under the orders of shape-shifting Queen Watevra Wa’Nabi, abducts Emmet’s friends into the Systar System, Emmet embarks on a rescue mission. Along the way, he meets Rex Dangervest—who embodies everything Emmet is not—and confronts a looming “Armamageddon.” As realities intertwine and metaphors between child play worlds collide, Emmet must learn to stay true to himself and reconnect playmates to rebuild harmony.
