About The Nice Guys
Set against the neon-soaked backdrop of 1977 Los Angeles, The Nice Guys follows the unlikely partnership between Holland March, a bumbling private investigator, and Jackson Healy, a cynical hired enforcer. The duo is forced to work together to solve the mysterious disappearance of a young girl named Amelia and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star. As their investigation deepens, they stumble into a sprawling criminal conspiracy involving high-ranking government officials and the Detroit automotive industry. Defined by its sharp wit, physical comedy, and retro aesthetic, the film explores a dangerous web of corruption through the lens of two deeply flawed but resilient detectives.
