It’s been two years since former police sergeant Leo Barnes (Frank Grillo) restrained himself from vengeance during Purge Night. Now employed as head of security for U.S. Senator Charlie Roan (Elizabeth Mitchell), who is running for President on a platform to end the sanctioned annual Purge, Barnes must protect her when a betrayal thrusts them into the streets of Washington, D.C. on the darkest night of American lawlessness—where for one night only, all crime is legal and even political immunity is revoked.
