The Reaping

Katherine Winter is a former Christian missionary who, after a tragic personal loss, becomes a professional debunker of religious phenomena using scientific investigation. She is summoned to Haven, Louisiana, a small town that appears to be suffering from the ten biblical plagues, starting with a river turning to blood. As the supernatural occurrences escalate, Katherine's skepticism is pushed to the limit, forcing her to confront her lost faith and a mysterious young girl who the locals believe is the harbinger of a divine or demonic apocalypse.
