The Seeding

In this bleak and atmospheric folk-horror, a hiker named Wyndham Stone travels into the remote Utah desert to photograph a solar eclipse but becomes hopelessly lost after a strange encounter with a young boy. He eventually stumbles into a deep, inescapable desert canyon where he finds a woman living off-grid in a state of primitive domesticity. As Stone struggles to find a way out, he realizes he is a captive of a feral group of sadistic boys who patrol the canyon's edge, and he must confront a horrifying cycle of entrapment where his only purpose is to serve a dark, reproductive ritual.
