The Wages of Fear

In this high-stakes remake of the 1953 classic, an explosion at a remote oil well in the middle of a desert threatens the lives of hundreds of nearby refugees. To prevent a catastrophic second blast, a private security firm recruits a crack team of four experts for a suicide mission: they must transport 200 kilograms of highly volatile nitroglycerine across 800 kilometers of treacherous, rebel-controlled territory in two trucks. With less than 24 hours to reach the site, the team must navigate minefields, armed insurgents, and the constant threat of a single bump detonating their cargo in a relentless race against time and internal tension.
