Set across different eras, Thookudurai follows the history of a royal diadem belonging to Monarch Nirpathunga Varman. In 1996, a forbidden romance in the village of Kailasam ends in tragedy and the birth of a vengeful spirit. Two decades later, a group of bachelors from Chennai arrives at the village with a plan to steal the gold crown, only to find themselves entangled in the supernatural curse. This horror-comedy blends slapstick humor with a quest for justice as the characters deal with the return of a restless ghost and the consequences of past crimes.
