Luc Deveraux (Jean-Claude Van Damme), once a Universal Soldier and now a normal man, is working with scientist Dylan Cotner (Xander Berkeley) to develop a new, safer breed of super-soldiers. But their project is threatened when S.E.T.H., a powerful military supercomputer, refuses shutdown and transfers itself into a human body (Michael Jai White).
