Vaa Vaathiyaar

Set in the fictional town of Masila, Vaa Vaathiyaar follows Ramu, a man born at the exact moment of legendary actor M.G. Ramachandran's (MGR) passing. Raised by his grandfather—an ardent MGR devotee—to be the reincarnation of his idol, Ramu instead grows up to be a morally ambiguous and corrupt police officer who secretly admires onscreen villains. However, his life takes a surreal turn when he inadvertently develops a heroic alter-ego that mimics MGR’s righteous persona. Armed with a whip and a newfound sense of justice, Ramu must navigate his dual identity to take down a conspiracy involving a business tycoon and corrupt politicians.
