Barbie in The 12 Dancing Princesses

Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses follows Princess Genevieve (voiced by Kelly Sheridan) and her eleven sisters, who love dancing and living freely in their father’s castle. Their widowed father, King Randolph, invites his cousin Duchess Rowena to help “properly” raise the girls, but Rowena forbids dancing and joy, stripping color and music from their lives. On their youngest sisters’ birthday, the girls receive their late mother’s favorite book, which hints at a magical realm. They discover a hidden portal in their bedroom floor that leads to a magical world where wishes are granted, statues live, golden flowers bloom, and healing waters flow. With time running out, they must balance joy with duty, expose Rowena’s schemes, save their father’s kingdom, and prove that being true to oneself (and each other) is the greatest magic of all.
