About Bharat
Set against the backdrop of India's Partition in 1947, a young boy named Bharat gets separated from his father and younger sister during a chaotic train boarding to Delhi, but promises his father he will keep the remaining family together at all costs. Spanning over six decades alongside the evolution of a newly independent nation, Bharat navigates a lifetime of arduous sacrifices—from performing death-defying motorcycle stunts in a 1960s circus and surviving perilous oil mining in the Middle East to confronting Somali pirates as a merchant navy officer—putting his personal ambitions on hold to honor the vow made to his family.
