Nirma Sahastrabuddhe, a timid and under-confident woman working as a Mandarin-speaking tour guide in Mumbai, purchases a brand-new car to boost her self-esteem, only to have it stolen on the very first day. Desperate to recover her prized vehicle after receiving no help from the police, she joins hands with an enigmatic, charming con artist and gourmet cook known simply as "Artist". Their unconventional search leads them deep into Mumbai’s quirky underworld to a ruthless local gangster obsessed with a prized goat, setting off an eccentric misadventure that ultimately helps Nirma overcome her insecurities and discover her inner strength.
