Fluke

Fluke tells the story of Thomas P. Johnson (Matthew Modine), a driven, work‑obsessed husband and father whose life is abruptly cut short in a car accident. He then mysteriously returns to Earth as a dog named Fluke. Retaining fragmented memories of his human past, he embarks on a heartfelt journey to reconnect with his wife, Carol (Nancy Travis), and their young son Brian (Max Pomeranc). Along the way he befriends a street‑wise dog Rumbo (voiced by Samuel L. Jackson) and confronts revelations about his previous life and the mistakes he made.
