Magic In the Water

Jack Black, a workaholic psychiatrist who is often distracted by his job, takes his two children, Joshua and Ashley, on a vacation to the scenic Lake Glenorky in British Columbia. While Jack remains glued to his work, Ashley becomes convinced that the lake is home to a legendary, friendly monster named Orky. As she attempts to feed and communicate with the creature, she discovers that the lake is being contaminated by local polluters. The family eventually unites to protect the mysterious inhabitant, leading to a transformative experience that heals their strained relationships through a touch of local magic and myth.
