About Species
Species is a sci-fi horror thriller about scientists who receive an alien radio transmission containing instructions for alien DNA. They splice it with human DNA to create a seductive hybrid, Sil (Natasha Henstridge), but she rapidly grows up and escapes. A team led by Dr. Xavier Fitch (Ben Kingsley), along with a government assassin, a biologist, an anthropologist, and an empath (played by Forest Whitaker) must track her down — because Sil’s ultimate goal is to mate with a human male and propagate her species, potentially threatening all of humanity.
