Godzilla: King of the Monsters follows the crypto-zoological agency Monarch, years after the existence of giant monsters (Titans) was revealed to the world. A new threat emerges when several ancient Titans, including Rodan, Mothra, and the three-headed King Ghidorah, awaken and clash for dominance. Dr. Emma Russell (Vera Farmiga) creates a device that can influence Titan behavior, setting off conflict both between Titans and among human factions. As the balance of nature threatens to overturn humanity’s place on Earth, Godzilla must rise again to restore order, even as human mistakes and ambitions complicate the struggle.
