In this raucous spin-off from the Madea universe, the blunt and foul-mouthed Joe Simmons finally takes center stage as he embarks on a cross-country journey with his sheltered, Gen-Z grandson, B.J. Hoping to toughen the boy up and teach him about the "real world" before he heads to college, Joe’s no-filter approach leads to a series of chaotic detours, including a run-in with a Texas brothel and a deep dive into significant landmarks of Black history.
